It also has a vibrant music scene whether classical, reggae, drum and base or rock is your chosen genre you will find plenty to choose from. Bristol also boasts many excellent schools so if you are searching for one we are a good place to stay whilst looking. Clifton Suspension Bridge is 4.5 miles away, famous around the World it’s a must to visit and if you are planning to be here for Bristol International Balloon Fiesta in August or any of the Rock Concerts hosted at Ashton Court Estate (previously The Smythe Estate) only 5 miles from us makes us a perfect spot to stay.

Great Restaurants, bistros, cafes and bars are everywhere in Bristol, we have several Michelin star establishments to choose from and The Ivy recently opened its Brasserie in The Mall in Clifton. For guests wishing to dine locally, Portishead has many excellent restaurants and bars to choose from. Our favourite Pub is The Black Horse in Clapton in Gordano just 3 miles away, built in the 14th Century and renowned as being one of the most unspoiled Inns in Somerset and is worth a visit winter or summer where either the open fires or the Beer Garden can be enjoyed with a glass of local beer, cider or your tipple of choice, you may be lucky enough to visit on a live music night held regularly.
